In English, "pura vida" translates literally to "pure life" or "simple life," but in Costa Rica it is a way of life, an attitude, and a national philosophy centered on gratitude, peace, and community.

Please note that non-urgent requests may be addressed the following business day.
House Rules
* Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property and on balconies or terraces.
* Any evidence of smoking may result in an additional cleaning fee.
* Pets are not permitted unless previously authorized.
* Illegal activities of any kind are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate eviction without refund.
* Please do not move furniture.
* Respect neighboring properties by keeping noise levels reasonable at all times.
* Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
* Only registered guests are permitted on the property unless prior approval has been obtained.
* You can use the sofa in the living room as a supplementary bed. The pillow and sheet set for the sofa bed is stored in the living room closet.
* To use the safe please use the safe key provided with the condo key.
Parking
You can park at the parking space 7 and use the visitors parking in case of more cars.
Pool Rules
* Pool hours are from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
* There is no lifeguard on duty. Guests use the pool at their own risk.
* Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
* No diving is permitted.
* No glass containers are allowed in the pool area.
* Please remove all personal belongings and pool toys when leaving.
* Parties and loud music are not permitted in the pool area.
* Please leave the pool area clean and tidy after use.
* There are 2 bathrooms available in front of the pool
* The condominium does not come with a BBQ
Energy & Water Conservation
Costa Rica values its natural resources. Please help us conserve energy and water by:
* Turning off air conditioning units when leaving the property.
* Keeping doors and windows closed while air conditioning is running.
* Turning off lights and fans when not in use.
* Reporting any leaks or maintenance issues promptly.

Cleaning
The house will be professionally cleaned before your arrival. If you have any cleaning issues upon arrival, please contact us immediately. Housekeeping is available during your stay (for an additional fee, please schedule with customer service). During your stay, please keep the house clean and tidy. Some cleaning products will be provided.
Trash
Please help us dispose of your trash in the bin, as your reservation does NOT include cleaning service. The bins are located in the parking area.
Supplies
To ensure your comfort upon arrival, we provide a starter supply of coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, paper towels, toilet paper, soap, shampoo, conditioner, dish soap, laundry detergent, disinfectant, and plastic bags. We do not provide additional supplies, so please purchase them if you need them during your stay. Previous guests may have left additional non-perishable items; please feel free to use them during your stay. We have made every effort to stock the kitchen with everything you need. If you need dishes, cooking utensils, or other kitchen items, please let us know.
AC
The AC will cool the home comfortably when set to 77 degrees (25 degrees C). Please ensure that NO doors or windows are left open while the AC or heating units are running. Please turn off ACs at checkout or if you are going to be out of the property for more than a few hours.
TV
The televisions are Smart TVs with applications that you can use your own accounts with.
Owner Closets
There may be marked closets and rooms in the house that are locked. Please do not attempt to open them as they contain the owner's personal items. If you need something that you cannot find, please contact us and we will do our best to help you out.
Other Info
* It is a secure condominium but does not have private security, so we recommend always keeping the doors and windows closed and locked.
* Please use the provided sticks to lock the windows and terrace doors
Check-Out Reminder
Checkout is 10:00 A.M. If you would like a late check-out, you must contact us, and an additional fee may apply. Before checking out of the house, please place dirty dishes in the dishwasher, and please throw all trash in the garbage cans. You can leave sheets on the bed and towels in the bathrooms. Make sure all windows are closed and all doors are closed and locked. If you have been using an Air Conditioning unit, please turn all AC units off. Please check for all your belongings. A shipping charge will apply for any items that need to be mailed back to you.
Return keys as instructed in the lock box.
Keep your calm
As this is a home in tropical Costa Rica you may occasionally see insects, geckos or other wildlife despite our regular professional pest-control treatments. These are a natural part of the local environment and tropical experience.
